30 hours later, Wish I could get a refund

Imagine my first char. I get him to lvl 13 and decide to start some gathering. Mining, botany and fishing. I do that for few hours and then decide to go back to my main for some combat and leveling. I get to level 14 and suddenly I start getting weird messages about my inventory space being low. Ok, I say, I'll look for a storage and dump them there. Imagine my surprise. I find out I will have to continue leveling my char for several levels more, do many new quests and 3 separate dungeons before I can use my storage. What the frak am I supposed to do with all those gathered stuff and only 3 free spaces left in inventory? I can't even sell them on the market.

I stopped playing that char and made a new one. One with not so many gathering skills. :)
But I also play a bit differently. I level my combat until I get to the new dungeon and than I start using my gatherer or crafter. I apply my main for a dungeon duty and gather while waiting.

This is a real problem, and the only effective solution is not to have forced grouping in respect of those quests that unlock core game features like retainers.

I don't have a problem at all with group-based dungeons in any MMO, but they shouldn't be related to the unlocking of core game features.

Or.. What they are doing? You click an option and it throws you in a random instance and you get a nice reward based on your level when you complete it.
