There is no hard in a video game. It isn't the fault of Square or Blizz or Eidos or CCP or Raph Koster or Yoshida or anyone else.
Latency issues aside, it was easier to nerf COIL than revamp the gear grind to actually let everyone do it.
Coil is also i90 content most people are doing in i70 gear. Let's not forget its meant to be hard to hold the hardcore people over. Once they introduce crystal tower with i80 gear people will be able to clear it easier regardless. So should it be nerfed? Although I honestly think this was more of a bug fix, yet to do Coil myself.
Didn't read rest of the thread, but sorry- When the difficulty is artificially high due to latency issues, that's a bad kind of difficulty. They actually made one part of the fight harder- the only thing they "nerfed" was making it possible to dodge an attack that was pretty much impossible to dodge unless your latency was near perfect.
"Most people" do not even have access to coil. The vast majority of people are still leveling stuff or are stuck on some content prior to coil, such as Titan or even Garuda.Quote:
