Come back next time with viable information/examples instead of "claiming" things without a fair amount of statistics/proof.
And actually tell us "WHY" this and "WHY" that when you have brought NOTHING as of yet. Just as bad as a preacher who is blinded by what they believe is truth, ears and mind closed to reason and compromise,..or just you enjoy being a troll. Most likely that I bet. problem peregrine..? lol

Sorry OP I also played every single DoW to 50 and Mrd is by far the weakest single target DPS on NMs. I don't even have to parse to understand it doesn't do as much damage as any of my other DoW.

As far as gear goes I have a Bhuj +2 and I have a Banneret +1 for my Lancer and you're right about one thing Mrd does more damage hit for hit than a Lancer but not by much. As lancer I never run into stamina issues but as Marauder I am barely able to keep up because of TP issues, we do BRs every 30 secs.

As Lancer on every other BR I'm able to pump out a 3k tp Doomspike that hits for 7-800 on high defensive NMs like Uraeus and Buffalo or 400ish Twisting Vices when I don't have 3k TP for a Doomspike.

As Marauder without haste and a slightly weaker Invigorate II (even with pikemanship) I can't manage 4k TP every minute like Lancer can. Even our only 3k TP weapon skill, Maim, is quite lackluster when compared to other 3k TP skills like Doomspike, Riot Blade, Victimize, Quick Nock, etc.

If anything Mrd will probably come out on top during Mosshorn fights but theres Thm again making me feel useless with their chainspell shadow sears and unmitigated DoTs.

They confirmed what I already told you. Marauder can't compete with lancer haste and archer's superior abilities. They can compete with pugilist, as it similarly fails at defining itself as good for something. You rely too much, solely, on marauder doing the most damage per hit as your only gun in this argument when that number doesn't matter.

In reality, marauder is dead last if not next to last in terms of damage done to single-target enemies, and if you aim to damage more than one enemy at a time, they're 4th best. Archer is still better than marauder because of wide volley and heavy shot, and the mages definitely are.

Sorry, there's just no use for a marauders low single target DPS and theoretically good but functionally gimp group damage.
