Same here on fists. Any fists. I can still remember the maniacal laughter of our tank when he finally got a morbid mogblade after his... I don't know, 400th attempt? That's back when weapons had a low drop chance and it dropped right into your inventory without a chance to pass the weapon to the one who needs it. *looks over at his collection of mog/ifrit swords, bows and axes* And I can't count how many times I heard my LS mates swear "not ANOTHER fists". GDI!
As to why we know the number of times that well... we had to farm key items to even get a chance for a weapon to drop. If you didn't have a key item, nothing dropped.
wow, you got yours in under 30 runs? that is amazing, congratulations.
i finally got my sword after about 80 runs in 2.0 and about 250 runs in 1.0. It took while, but i am now at 9/9. you can do it too, i believe in you!
Garuda's Sword Dropped
I asked in Mumble anyone lotting that ?
Everyone was leaving , both Tanks bounced......
3 people left , I rolled a 83
I won
My Glad is level 8 lol..........
We did Ifrit before it , and that sword dropped and 1 guy lotted on it and got it lol ......
Sorry , I feel your pain .:(
So, are you implying that anyone who makes a mistake shouldn't be allowed to roll for loot? Should that be their "punishment" for missing a single interrupt? Don't pretend like you would have declined to roll on the sword after 29+ runs, if it were you that made a mistake.
I like to snerk at Paladins that use Ifrit's Blade. If they didn't get lucky on the first run on their way to relic, they wasted their time. Garuda's Gaze is actually worth trying about six or seven times, but you can just as easily tank Titan with your Grand Company weapon.
Which better be the Storm Cutlass, or you'd better bow down to your Limsa Lominsan betters, peasant.
