What about people on buddy passes from 1.0? If not, if I purchase the collector's edition upgrade will it work?

Why then is this not counted as time towards Veteran Rewards?

Because only time you actually "Pay" for is counted towards the vet rewards.

you wont be excluded from world transfers. it would be silly of them to exclude buddy pass users since the code is a normal 1.0 non CE code and I know people who have used them to register ARR

A bit disappointing when support says that this time IS free trial time and won't refund it because it took 20 days for them to get back to you on an issue with the one-time-password.

Oh boy.... Punished is kinda harsh.
I bought ps3 version too, I don't care if I get a free transfer or not.
I understand your frustration though. Maybe Sqaure will give you one anyways since your that upset.

Maybe because you can only add a new subscription after the current ended.
You can try it after your free time ended. Pay for 1 or 3 month and then try the next day to pay for 1 month again.

I am guessing it is because you have to actually pay before they give you paid rewards. Its like going into a store with a buy one get one free sale, and saying you should be able to take the free one, and you will buy the one in a month or so.

Is this correct though? I'm still on a free trial and have followed all the criteria and it keeps saying I have no characters available for transfer. I've been playing since beta 4 and then day one on both PS3 and PC. Has anyone got this to work yet?

So, after that official reply, their Terms of the World Transfer Service that they posted today still states the following?:

I understand. My free trial has yet to expire and I have yet to be charged a service fee (which I'm guessing is their monthly service fee?). So that means I CANNOT use the free World Transfer service? That contradicts what the community rep said, or at least what everyone in this thread assumes he said.

Also, the community rep mentioned they will remove that line, but it's still in there today in their terms of service.
