AOE-acceptable,when?

I think AoE will be useful in PVP. LOL

Id say its ok if you see all the mobs are taking damage already, or just give it a little time and then you know the tank has to have good aggro on them or else they would be going for the healer, right?
edit: but watch out for slept mobs.

edit2: if you get a pop-spawn of 10 mobs then you can be pretty sure those are intended to aoe.

Generally you only want to AoE sporadically if your tank has marked focus targets.

If you are a summoner, you should always be baning, and dropping shadow flare. It is rough on a tank because your dots are doing ~135 every tick w/o thunder, 170 with, but it makes every run SO much faster. If they consistently cannot hold threat they're probably a paladin heh, but you need to be baning....its ridiculous, upwards of 1700 potency on EACH target with 1 off GCD ability? Yes please =)
