Buying a Titan run isn't much less RMT encouraging.

How clever, you attempted to change what I said to suit you! No, that's obviously not what I said. Don't be so daft.
And no, even Titan requires more effort than sitting and crafting/turning in leves. Obtaining a relic+1 is an absolute joke, no doubt, but at least it takes some ability. You might enjoy being lazy and buying your way to success, but I don't. I have the sense to realize how badly that impacts the game.
Also, I have everything at level 50. That includes crafting and gathering. You're embarrassing yourself.
Because... If you can buy the best things, that just encourages lazy people who support RMT. Is this really going over your head? Just look at all the gil buyers with vanya gear and paying for Titan runs because they're incapable of doing it the honest way.
And I blacklist everyone I see selling, or buying one of those runs. Totally off-subject, by the way.
So you think all we crafters buy all the crafting ingredient and material? Crafting require effort a lot more grinding if you ask me since there are gathering classes out there to be done too. So basically crafters need DoL as well to reduce the cost of materials. And to be effective crafter, you need more than 1 crafting job for cross skilling as well.
RMT? So you think only crafters bought gil from RMT or something? - -
It almost never worth buying or getting a lvl70 weapon crafted because of the easy that relics can be gotten which are better.
How is it off-subject when we're talking about Relic weapon and how gil shouldn't be able to get the best weapon?
I just proved that today the crafted weapons costs more and takes more effort than it does than doing the relic quest line. Hell there even was a FC that offered a carry from Chimera until Titan for 7m gil.
How that is less RMT encouraging than a crafted weapon, is beyond me.
Who you blacklist or not has no effect to the balance of the game. SE will never do anything against people selling runs because it breaks no rules at all. It's all strictly in-game money.
Okay... I'll admit I didn't quite make the connection there. People buying Titan wins, obtaining relic with no effort... Yeah. I apologize. I'm very much against that too, and as I stated, I immediately blacklist anyone who admits to buying/selling those wins. Obviously my blacklisting these people changes little, but at least I know I won't add to the problem by supporting those people.
Being able to buy/sell these runs breaks any intended challenge in the game, and it's sad SE has no issue with it. I do feel being able to flat-out buy something is a lot easier, and more encouraging for such RMT activity... But yes, you're right - Both have issues.
That wasn't my intention. I just don't believe the best items in the game should be able to be bought.
I wish I could suggest something like... These crafted items being unsellable (So only a crafter could obtain them), but with how crafting leves are, people can just buy HQs and trade them in for crazy EXP. :\ I have no issues with the crafters themselves.
Well I'm on the same page as you. I wish paying for kills like that wasn't possible, but unfortunately it is and nothing we can do about.
I think TERA did something like that, not sure if they have changed it (at least they made leveling up professions extremely easy). But the best gear in-game was only craftable by yourself since it would bind after crafting. And the materials needed was drops from the hardest boss in the game and bind on pickup.
I just don't see why SE doesn't do something like end game untradeable gear of equivalent ilvl to some of the current raiding gear or give crafting classes the ability to add extra materia slots to the current gear that then makes the piece untradeable.
It couldn't be exploited that way and it makes it so that leveling a craft as well as a job beneficial for endgame. Also kind of makes crafting more attractive to endgame oriented players.
