Duty Finder Crystal Tower: Abandon all Hope Ye who Enter

Yoshi mentioned that indeed there would be six tanks six healers and 12 DPS...DF insures there will be 0 organization of such an unwieldy party set up. As it is Tanks take a minute to decide who is MT and which healer cures whom but can you imagine the confusion when someone thinks they're MT but doesn't tell anyone? or the overhealing and death to result when two WHMs cure the same person and neglect others completely?

I know from experience : You assign vital roles first to people who you know and who are experienced then you "job" the rest. There needs to be One Cook in the kitchen, not six, providing direction which makes the run easier for everyone.

I just don't see this happening in DF.

Have they said Crystal Tower will be DF enabled?

Yes I believe it was mentioned in an interview or a live letter that CT will be available through DF.

Yup, you can search for your pug groups in the DF.

If you want to DF Crystal Tower in the first place and expect a well organized and strategized run...then you are deluded.

Whatever this game is you are refering to, it is an exception and that's not how these mechanics work in something like DF. RaidFinder in WoW is the exact same thing. You can't control who is joining, you can't tell them what to do and nobody is gonna listen anway. The only difference is...you can kick people if enough people vote for them, but as soon as at least 3ppl vote against the kick, he won't be kicked...most people prevent this from happening by just joining RaidFinder with 3 friends...

To be honest...build up shout groups...you can control who is coming as what job, what their role is gonna be etc...
