I enjoy White Mage. Scholar feels unreliable only because I'm not fully in control of my heals. Even when selecting Fairy spells manually there is a delay. I can belt out spells at will and manage my own MP. I enjoy this about the White Mage job. I still am a big fan of the books scholars get to use, they look very stylish. At the end of the day though It'll be White Mage for me.
WHM is easier.
Scholar simply has more things to take care of including pet.
IF SE ever decides to let us control our fairy off of global cooldown, scholar will become a lot smoother and pleasing to play though
All with all, with practice both of them are good, WHM just takes less effort to master.
WHM is simpler, SCH is more complex and imo more powerful if you are able to master it.
If they fix pet tools and UI, it will lower the SCH learning curve and make it more manageable and streamlined.
Different strokes for different folks. I enjoy the playstyle of the whm, but I am enjoying SCH so far.
