I've seen mining bots in Quarrymill, and in a few places. Some were existing characters from 1.0, some may have been hacked like a lot of the RMT shout spammers. In any case, the typical bot is pretty easy to spot after a few minutes watching.

cos me i remember in 1.0 in aegis i seen alot of bots on follow ..but in forum i see some complaint for only 1 person to bot ... hummmm they complain cos he stay there and go nod to nod farming to sell on AH ?? that maybe he is using a program ???? it could be real person. Cos for 3 days i fished at same spot for leves and sell fish in NPC or AH im not botting for RMT im saving money for when personal house will arrive .. Is it bad??? maybe they though of it too

i dont care im french and guess what? im able to understand my friends who just started english and make mistake in their line and ask them if they wanted to say that and they say yes and i correct them

SILENCE! YOU DIRTY BOT! PROGRAMS AREN'T SUPPOSED TO POST ON THE FORUMS.

•I farm mats for my crafting classes in the same area for hours, I am not a bot.
•I have my /tell and /shout turned off, due to being harassed by gil sellers.
•Only /linkshell, /party, /yell, and /say are open, however, if /say and /yell become clogged with gil sellers, I will turn them off as well.
•I also craft my items for hours on end. (Finally got my gsm to 50 ^^) (Yes, I actually sit there and press all my buttons. I do have a macro for my gems tho, but I still have to press the buttons, and select which gem, and if I want to use HQ or not)
•I don't make gil on the market (logic and math are not my strong points, so I fail miserably at making gil on the MW. Looks like I will never be able to buy my little cottage. :'( )

TL;DR Not everyone who don't respond to /tells or /shouts is a bot. I know lots of people who have turned off parts of chat.
