Warriors in coil .. It's not happening

My coil group has always had the scholar healing the warrior on that boss. The warrior likely isn't playing right. In many cases the WAR I have been with on Turn 1 is easier to heal than the PLD. Your healers should also be interweaving heals anyway.

People need to stop claiming Warriors can't do shit. Yes, they are at a disadvantage and SE does need to do a few things to fix them, but it's mostly a player problem.

Actually its more about since the war has +healing skills and is healed for more the shield is more too. Pld would get lets say 100 with 100 shield while war would get 115 with 115 shield. That's what they meant.

And my group did turn 1-3 with a warrior and are making some noteworthy progress on turn 4, either you've just had some bad warriors/healers(because hey a scholar is healing ours too on turn 1) or too many overzealous dps that think it's a good idea to blow all their cds right off the bat where even a paladin tank won't hold aggro over them.

Thanks, I wasn't sure which skill or any cd, they just told me about the 20% of target hp heal. I figured they knew better than me anyway so we went with it on both runs and it worked great.

I am not saying they can not do it. Just saying they can not do it effectively as a paladin.

Warriors aren't so great for Turn 4. That turn was really made for paladins. Warriors can barely scrap by.

And the extra mitigation a Paladin has makes the shield last longer.

Ya but the war has self heals. So the shield from scholar acts as more mitigation for the war and the mitigation on the paladin makes it easy for a whm with slower cast speeds so the tank doesn't get spiked. You see where this is going now? Its more about synergizing the classes strength and weaknesses.

Dunno it really depends on the warrior. The warrior I have been going with has in some cases been much easier to heal than some paladins. That being said though, yes warriors do need some changes to make them more effective overall because most warriors are kind of bad (from my personal experience as a healer).

It's a shame because a lot of warriors are going to "have" to reroll or be left out because people don't find them effective at all.
