Weird red/green lights in Gridania on big trees.

ahh still one funny behest then. they stood around a good 5 min at the tree.

Honestly its probably there for content that will be added later, its like the various swirling vortex in XI that were not used for the longest time. Maybe it will warp up to a new zone or be part of a quest not yet added.

yeah, the glowing tree has been there since at least november. that's the first time i sat and camped the goblin for hours and it was there back then.

I noted this near early release when I was scouting Botany areas, no Ryhm or reason for it's existence "I have personally only seen the one tree do this near the far end of treespeak" But like many things in XIV "large elemental crystals sitting in caves or giant statues just chillin" they are just there with no use as of yet.

I think it is an elemental in that tree. It is reminiscent of the Gridania storyline. I would think it will have more content around it at a later date.

Its for a Gridania quest or something isn't it?

There's an NPC in the Gridania Adventurer's guild that mentions the trees - has something to do with the Conjurers.
