Im not saying they should have no cooldown. Healing/resistance potions are fine. The buff potions are NOT fine. There is no situation where 15 vitality is going to save you. or 15 strength for 15 seconds will make or break the dps in your fight.
who the hell would dunk a pot that lasts shorter than a toilet pee?

I think the time's on all the potions are fine. HOWEVER; I'd like a categorical split in cooldowns. In plain not link all medicine times together. A split in HP from Ether from Stat buffs from Debuffs. This would make Potions extremely more useful and prolific.
FYI Mega-Potion of Strength HQ 20% (61max) ; 15 sec duration; 4min 30sec recast
is an OP DPS pot.
I'm a WAR so I string Internal Release+ Berserk+ mega-pot.... I've critical over 1k several times now. And if done right is good for 6 hits
6 hits strong every 4min-5min in a 90min dungeon is a big deal especially during a boss fight.
