Scholar isn't easy since you have to deal with your own skills plus the summon ones (if you want to be a good one).
Different than Summoner where you can say to the summon to attack and the AI take care of the skills etc, I think if you do that as Scholar you won't be as good as one actually controlling the summon.

Yeah that's what I figured with scholar its the only heal class I want to play but im worried that because im on ps3 im screwed when it comes to managing a fairy I got my marauder to 16 last night its really fun but being a caster still looms in my mind. I understand people saying what you enjoy but what I enjoy is being good at something people need. So I don't know id like to try scholar but the whole ps3 thing is scary also being a warrior kind of blows because no one wants them to tank anything and I have never cared for paladins.

also I don't consider crafters in this at all as I expect to level all of them lol

You don't have to put all MND on SCH. I would say, put your points into INT up until you get SCH unlocked at 30 and then put points into MND. I kept my point distribution at 15/15 between MND and INT, so both my SCH and SMN are effective. Gear makes a bigger difference.
