Well due to the class system, they wouldnt really be able to do that since the job just really supplements the class. Adding a new weapon type means that there would need to be a new class

Haven't seen that. Quite the opposite, he always gave Dark Knight as an example of a possible second class for Gladiator, lol.

Also, ED and Bio aren't cross-class and a DoW can't use Ruin (not that any sensible person would). Instead, you'd get Physick, Virus, and Eye for an Eye, none of which make any sense for a Dark Knight.

That's true, Yoshi was entertaining the idea of DRK being the DPS job for gladiator.
