As a WHM I have no chance to get gold on Behemoth or Odin due to the credit on boss fates being totally messed up. I just killed Odin yesterday and surprisingly he was up on my screen for most of the fight. I was in cleric stance and spamming stone 2 or holy as much as I could, and only got silver. Same thing happens with Behemoth. I did see some people got the achievement for getting gold so it is possible... How? I do not know.

U can get gold. Party with heavy dps classes and make sure u keep them alive. The more dmg your party does the higher chance u get gold.

I found it hysterical that my party got gold for killing him last night and I got my 5 mantles when I contributed almost nothing to taking him down because I could never see him during the damn fight. So ridiculous.

5 tokens for Gold. 1 token for Silver.

I've already killed him 3 times on my server, missed many other kills because Odin likes to spawn at 2am, 5am, 6am, 7am on Tonberry.

He spawns every 2 days or so.

I find it interesting that yesterday i tanked, without dieing, 99.9% of his hp bar(missed the tag because i didn't have a healer in pty yet), and yet i got silver....im sure some dd got gold......guess i'll never bother tanking him again so someone else can get gold.

I wasn't in a full party for a portion of it because of lag on pty invites but idc if im solo and tank the entire thing to make the event not a total s%&$ fest, i dont see how or why i dont get gold.

SE really needs to take a look at these things, clearly enmity isn't the only factor considering i was clearly highest enmity attacking him.

Not quite fair... I got silver at level 44, doing only a few tomahawks/overpowers.

no, his the gear he drops is for GLD/PLD/MRD/WAR, and zantetsuken is a GLD/PLD weapon.

as of now i have yet to find him on cactuar.
