Even a desktop isn't ready to go full throttle as soon as the desktop comes up.

Oh my god!!! When are you people going to learn how to read? They impose Log-in caps after maintenance in order to easy the number of people back into the servers so they don't get flooded by 100,000 people at once so you idiots don't crash them.

Are you the same people who cry about not getting enough information?

The only information I would like to know is if maintenance is extended. I cannot even retrieve the NA/EU server list at that. So, quite frankly... I'm not going to whine about it, but it would be nice to have an update so I'm aware of what's going on and approximately the time to check back for logging in.

Same here, been trying to log into Balmung for the past half hour and still nothing. It's not even showing me the queue message.

You mean you waited until we had to pay you then you put this shit back in. SE this is crap and you know it.

This is BS. The reason we get the 1017 error instead of a queue is because they are to damn cheap to pay for adequate login servers. No game in this day and age intentionally makes you blindly attempt to login over and over. They have intentionally put in this "hack" 1017 error to get around not having adequate infrastructure to support their customers.
