Sorry but sitting on my ass in front of a computer screen playing a game that neither earns me money nor advances me in the real world seems like a pretty good definition of a waste of time. Seriously? I remember WOW servers being down longer for two hours and I completely agreed to those having to wait lot longer then that just because of "maintenance" alone. At least SE gave us heads up about this and it's only for "two" lousy hours. Hey. Might lose some game time out of it considering I got to be back up in the morning for work, but I'll get whatever time I can into it before the night is over. So like everyone that is suggesting you to do which is either take a break from the computer, eat, read some comics etc. and take a chill pill.

This thread is lololol. I swear half the people who post here are daft. They announce this crap on the lodestone pretty much every time and you guys go all ballistic and start these threads about "IS THIS WUT WE PAY FOR?! AMG PLZ FEKZ DIS SO I CANZ PLEY." No. Just stop the crying and check the Lodestone webpage more often. I check it daily, and to top that off, I also look at topics in my Launcher to notify myself ahead of time for when maintenance will actually be hitting.
If you're misinformed... it's your problem. I'm not defending SE, but I'm also not going to make you feel like your thread is worthwhile when it was your issue that you forgot to check the website. It's one thing if your ISP has a maintenance because it's rare that they ever inform their customer base of that. With SE, they at least post it unless it's of an "emergency" nature... in which case they get the ball rolling first and then post the news. -

And if you know anything about MMO's and Games in general, then you know you do not pay for the game. You pay for the license to be able to play the game based the terms of the Company that produces the game. Go and reread the ToS, it clearly states that when you agreed to it you agreed that SE has the right to perform Maintenances and to take servers down on their own schedule. You also agreed that SE does not guarentee that you will be able to play the game error free.
