anyone leveling all classes and jobs?

I level other classes ONLY to gain the cross-class abilities. 5 levels in that, 10 levels in that, just something I can level up easy.
When it comes to DoH, then I specialize in 3. The rest of the group I play with specializes in the rest, so when we need some item etc we trade the resources.
DoL - miner.
And that's it.

im kinda making my own classes lol mixing skills from other classes lol main class gladiator whit skills of lancer and archer lol looking like a ninja lol doing more damage than a dps... i killed ifrit using hey maker and and the skills of lancer and warrior , whit the buff deffence of gladiator and time break of it.. ifrit was a jk

Just remember that the crafting classes need cross-class abilities from other crafts, so you'll be leveling same crafts on both characters in any case. Unless you're only using the craft for repairs and crafting easy things you don't need to HQ.

I am doing the same thing the best thing to do is get two retainers to hold your stuff... Personally I would choose a retainer in two different locations so that you can sell items in different worlds...

Dunno. I feel like I'll get bored with it.
Planning on making WHM all the way through, start with SCH then BRD. :/
I just don't wanna go alllllll the back from square one and bleh.

As for Crafting. Going to try Weaver and Cooking. Possibly Fishing again too.

+1 with "self-sufficient" being the key words. I'm trying to stay ahead of the curve for whatever direction I decide to take my character. It'll also make melding materia a lot easier if you already have the sufficient requirements.

I STILL do not have access to the retainers. I am on my first dungeon story-wise, but due to limited game time during the week, and the DF queue taking 30+ minutes I find I just do not have the time to do a dungeon. I will be able to play for an extended time this weekend so hopefully I make it past this point and can finally get access to retainers, which I hear I am fairly close to.

You get retainers after the 3rd dungeon I think.

Not sure about every class, but I want to have a tank, healer and dd to switch through during end game.
