[Theory Crafting] The formula for Quality increase (control) and a TOOL !

This is amazing! I just started leveling Weaving/Botany last night and am having a blast. I'll definitely be playing with this tool once I hit the higher levels. Thanks for putting the work in to make this! :)

so, i downloaded the only link in your first post and ... :
1st, it doesn't look like on the screenshot (no auto load button, a bit different layout)
2nd, it says 100% fail on rotations i craft ingame as 100% success (yes i made sure the numbers i manually typed into it are correct)
3rd, where can i input lvl of my craft for rotation simulator as thats proly the thing which caused 2nd to fail ?
4rd, the app won't start under XP 32-bit, ok under win7 64-bit, couldn't try under win7 32-bit, any DLLs frameworks needed ?
am i missing something ? or you accidentally uploaded wrong version ?

Ooops link wasn't good in the first post, it's fixed now.
It requires .Net 4.5 to work, and it only simulates Star Items with a lvl 50 crafter right now.

Very nice.

I think it would be nice if you added a display of how much Durability is left, just to make things a little easier :P.

Working on a new version that should be out in 3 or 4 hrs.
The durability Left will be included as well as the current CP cost (This won't include rumination/trick of the trade)

And working on a detailed result window.

Does it work for 2 star items? I think it doesn't, as it should complete a 40 durability item, like Vanya Silk, in 2 Careful Synthesis after Ingenuity, instead of 3.

Nevermind, for some reason it works now.

The simulator is configured for Star Items (1 and 2).

New version UP!

Added the 2 textboxes for Cp left and Durability left.

Reworked almost entirely the code behind so some things might not work...

What would you guys want as a feature for the next release ?

I think it would be great if it run more simulations, instead of just 1000, to reduce variance (instead of having to click many times to simulate and calculate the average).

It doesn't seem to work correctly with Piece by Piece. If I use it 3 times with Steady Hands up, it should never fail, but it gives me a 100% fail chance.

Also, Rumination sometimes returns CP, sometimes not.
