Please save gear sets to server, not locally.

Same here, I prefer to craft and do less intense or repetitive battles on laptop and do more endgame on my desktop. Major pain each time I'm on laptop and discover something else that should've been saved on server to begin with.

Totally agree! Save all UI settings on server! This is very important game defect!

this is extremely important actually.. for ppl who play on pc and ps3. this downright an insult to players, why should we waste 6-7 hours setting up 9 jobs, and 19 classes gearsets and actions repeatedly b/c u guys refuse to make it server side?

Please, please, please... THIS. I think this thread should get bumped EVERY time someone has to do a file transfer between computers.

Have you guys tried putting the FF14 folder in dropbox (or something that can sync files). It works for me for games that I can play on mobile and PC. Maybe it would work for FF14 too.

I fully approve of efforts to save user settings, but it can't be as simple as "just saving it on the server." If you do that, you will have a problem on rendering devices that require a different UI (i.e. low res PS4 bigscreen vs high res PC monitor). Instead, if the server can save profiles for multiple UIs, that would be far more desirable. In addition, it would allow saving a different UI for a healer, or a miner for example. And 24 man configs are likely to require some differences as well.

Fortunately, I saw some posts already hinting that developers are doing it "my" way (profiles) and that this feedback has been heard. But details haven't been delivered to us yet.

Agreed. Had the same problem with my ps3. Yellow light of death, burned out my system. Bought a new one, re-installef the game and I was overjoyed to see my character still there. But all my settings were wiped. Had to remake my macros, adjust all my HUD info, redo hotbars, and save gear sets all over again.

Still I was thrilled to be back and have my character, weapons, armor, items, etc.

There was a dev post a while back saying that they were looking into this...

How do I set up my saves/ gear set saves and hotbar settings to a cloud storage? so it cna later be loaded without having to start all setting and ui/ gearsets again and again each time i log in. anyone can set me up or go step by step?
