Searching keywords "price," "pricing," "subscription," "cost" and "fee" pulled up no appropriately named thread with the information I've provided in its opening post. I wrote this to raise awareness, and because I'm curious as to people's thoughts on the matter. If you ask me, Entry is too expensive. At most it should have been $11, $10 being ideal (as that's how much it was in 1.0). I mean, what do you get with Entry? 1 character. Not 1 per X servers, 1. One character to make your name in the game. Meh, terrible deal, may as well go with Standard service.

Why attempt raise awareness to matters that don't necessarily involve the individual? We're not talking about saving lives, nor are we talking about some sort of detrimental global issue here. We're talking about subscription rates for a video game. It sounds more like you're just trying to rally negativity towards matters that don't really concern you. But you really should learn a little about business, marketing, and financial management before spouting what you perceive to be "fair" in this day and age.

I'm sure you've seen this sort of marketing practice done before, heck, probably in your daily life. Just look at sizing at food establishments and such. $1.00 for a small cup of coffee, $1.15 for a medium, $1.25 for a large (which is essentially 2x larger than the small), etc. The cheapest option is essentially the less worthwhile (biggest ripoff). People just have their own reasons for going that route.
