Is there any point in taking more than 1 SCH for Full parties?

Er you could probably succeed with 2 sch up until coil 4 or perhaps even coil 5 . Simply because healing isn't actually that unforgiving till your at that point.


Whm can cross class eye for an eye and virus . They should too they are good off gcd dmg reducing cooldowns.

I am feeling that saving aethers for lustrate is a better idea due to the fact that an ohshit button is invaluable.

SCH has trait to reduce eye for an eye CD. Not sure abt virus. WHM has trait to improve protect and stone, so it evens out.

I dont use soil much save for predictable heavy AoE, much like how I used disc priest's dome in WoW (ofc the shield there is much stronger, like 50% dmg reduction).

I am/was a scholar, and whenever I see the other healer is a scholar, I kinda get disappointed. These groups always have trouble. Two white mages will never have this same degree of useless overlap. On a scale of 1 to 10 if SCH+WHM is a 10 and SCH+SCH is 1, then WHM+WHM is probably a 8 or 9.

Its why I ended up making one. You can argue about which healer is better and get 100 different opinions, but when it comes to stacking, there really is no "silver lining" for the scholar. Two white mages can get the job done and barely even notice what they would be missing by having a scholar. Two scholars are too well aware of what they are missing when they both start pitifully spamming succor after the big AE damage. And no, the succor they casted before the AE (whatever was left of it) doesn't do much to help either. And yes, the faery HoT would be nice, but has no upfront healing which is so desperately needed when the whole party is sitting at 10-20% health.

What the two white mages would be missing tends to be their mana. ;) Having one of each is optimal as they both bring something to the table. But two good scholars will do the job, as will two good white mages. Each have their positives and negatives, and using one of each will even this out. That being said it's doable with two of either healer, it just depends more on ability. In my experience and opinion anyway.

Double regen and medica 2 saves mana for the whm who would have to pick up the slack of a sch who lacks aoe healing.
