I agree. I was incredibly disappointed to find only the crappy armor was dyeable. meaning once you hit 50 you're pretty much all Clones again...
Personally, Guild Wars 2 got it right, dye any section any color etc etc... It was amazing. Though i don't mind FFXIV's method of dying (1 time uses), If every piece of armor could be Dyed, but with so many restrictions it might as well not be in the game.
So yah, Support. Add the ability to dye all armor. PLEASE :)

Adding my vote.
They have gone to great lengths to add a wonderful dying system. From 1-49 it's a dream; everyone's running around in their colours of choice. What a pity when we reach 50 we all look the same: black and red from our Darklight. I think being able to dye everything any colour would achieve the unique snowflake opportunity that the development team were originally aiming for with the dying system.
So much effort made for people to look different yet now, more than ever, everyone looks the same at 50!

Indeed, I really want to dye unique stuff. I get to level 20 while leveling both Gladiator and Marauder and I'm stuck with a Doctore's Chainmail that looks nice sure.... but I can't have purple gauntlets and boots with it without looking super tacky. :<

It's silly, 'cause even the arcanist guild leaders, both roe+miqo'te have different coloured lvl 15 caster gear, the roe has light blue and the miqo'te red, but we're allowed to have only green. :(

(Can I have it?) (Yes, please)

All gear should be dyped yes please.

Here's probably the biggest flaw with the "dye restricted set" logic:
http://i1360.photobucket.com/albums/...ps31a48068.png
One of the things you learn after playing MMOs for a while is: wearing complete armor sets tends to be for very brief periods of time. About 80-90% of the time you have some mixed set due to stat optimization or being in transition from one tier of gear to a higher one. Thus all these dye set restrictions accomplish is leaving the player in Rainbow Pimp Gear the majority of their playtime just for the sake of the tiny, fleeting moments they have a complete set they stay "Lore Friendly". Because Lore Friendly = immunity to paint.
And of course those who don't wish to dye their gear still don't have to. All they would lose is the freedom to dictate their standards of what can & can't be dyed onto my character. Gee thanks guys <_<

Would definitely like this. On one hand; I'd wonder how much work would it need to put in different textures for each unique item but on the other; they've already done it for all the crappy armors anyway.

/signed please enable unique to be dyed
