Thanalan music gone?

The end is near!

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes! The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!

Haha yeah its gone for me too on Rabanastre, I can hardly contain my excitement! (I seriously hope whatever it is, is as good as the hype >_>)

Its kind of depressing with no music. I hope this dosen't go on for long.

It's very, very, very hard to glitch something 100% unrelated to active code. (It's more of a modular thing). FFXI does this when the Astral Candancence is taken from Al Zahbi.

Also there was no update today.

Gone from Mysidia as well.

The adventures guild NPC in uldah (I forget her name) is mentioning something about crystals with their energy drained and strange weather, check her 3 times she'll say something different (this was confirmed by ls mates).

Still got music in town.

Happened to me as well, crossed from the black shroud into thanalan and bam, no music! There was music though when I entered a cut scene (r20 WVR quest at the bazaar), and after the cut scene the thanalan music was back too.

I figured it was just a glitch, though it strikes me as odd considering that the other sounds still work.

Noticed the lack of music too and also noticed the rainy weather is everywhere now. The coming storm must be a really big one.

Yes it's a glitch, I experienced the same thing with a cutscene during the Starlight Celebration in Ul'dah. During the cutscene the Ul'dah track kicked in then it wasn't replaced by the Celebration track afterwards until I zoned.
