Getting tired of blocking all these dam gil sellers

kind of off topic, but i was wondering if there are a good amount of english speakers in asian servers

Sorry, I know it's not directed at me but yes, there are. That would depend on the time and world though. Most English speakers in the JP server are there because they're from Oceania/SEA or expats living in JP.. you'd probably want to join a FC or LS if you want to be in an English community. Once, I overheard a conversation between some players saying that they are planning to transfer to NA as soon as transfers become available so I don't know just how active the English community is during off our time.

And true, we don't get those a lot... but let's not give those sellers any bright ideas. :x

There really needs to be a quick right click button for "Report Gil Spammer" that also auto blocks them. Funny though, they stopped them for a moment earlier today... until they figured out you just need a few random characters at the end to bypass it, and being able to rapidly alternate between yell and shout. Still, its a marked improvement from what it was where you couldn't even catch the names.

A temporary way to fix this is to uncheck Shout under Character Configuration > Log Window Settings > Log Filters. You can make another Log Filter tab specifically for chat or shouts. This obviously does not fix the problem, but it does help when you don't want to see the RMT shouts in your main general chat box. Also helps with the party invite spam in shout too.

I'm pretty sure these spammers are people who have been mass-hacked. Someone in my LS was hacked and 'turned' into a gilseller. We are hoping that the person isn't perma-banned as they attempt to get their account back. =/ For those of you that aren't using an authenticator... PLEASE get one. You can download an app for your smartphone now (iOS or Android).
