Duty Finder - Long Ques Even After Patch...

So SE holds a gun at your head speaking literally and tells you to use the duty finder instead of socialice with others to build a group? Kind of interresting. Oh and that a gorup Disbands after a first wipe is also the fault from SE and not from the players :). The problem is not enough people try to form own groups and not enough people play healer or tank classes. That can not SE or Dutyifinder solve. Maybe jump over your own shadow and become tank/healer for a change.

Honestly, not going to try to white knight for SE because I don't really care about them as a company, but I will say that this is not their fault at all. Its a dungeon finder system issue. Its like this in any other MMO with the system implemented in it.

Its not SEs fault that nobody wants to play a tank, and its not SEs fault that there is a natural discrepancy in dps to healer/tank ratios. Unless they're going to make 3 man grouping a thing, its just a fact of life.

Dungeon finders suck, and I'm glad to see atleast some people in this game are still keeping the old tradition of building their own groups.

Do something else then, play something else until the worst wave of your kind have gone back to their other mmos.

Then why are people like you playing this game when it's designed to take time to do things? I think it's a lot more reasonable for someone to play the game the way it is, than for people to insist that the game be changed because of problems that are stemmed from the players themselves.

I get that it's a system thing, at least in regards to waiting as a full pre-made, but... that's kind of what things are at for a new system. It's humorous when many complaints come from people who try to rush everything in as little time as possible, but maybe that's just showing my age. Their idea of "casual player" is not someone who expects to log in and progress in 30min the same as someone who spends 3hrs, unlike what an unfortunately high number of people think. Now if you're referring to solo queuing, then it's just an idiotic attempt at attention. Players (cumulative) dictate queue times with solo queue, not the system. Not enough tanks/healers, that sort of thing.

The game is catered to the casual player in how they can progress in general (see "as a whole"). You don't need to group to level, you don't need to seek out your own party as a means to progress, etc. It's very forgiving and lenient that way. The "hardcore" player, in that light, is someone who wants to do endgame content, and most importantly, is willing to work (and seek out) others to accomplish this. Not someone who spends 24hrs/day on the game, just to clarify. If you choose to play a genre that should be well-known to require a decent amount of time to play, but don't have said time, you don't really have a right to complain to the devs about that. That's like buying a scary movie, and complaining that you got scared.

Are you retarded? Did you read any of my posts... I said that im upset I cannot play content. Nothing about not being able to geared instantly... im far from it. I simply want to be able to play the lvl 50 content.

Sir, I'm playing a tank and still need to wait ridiculous times... not for a party but for an instance. The problem at hand is bad coding/bad servers to support the game. This is what is being complained about.

I expect this considering we have..

2 Tank Jobs

5 DD Jobs

2 Healer Jobs

Until we get more Jobs, such as the 2nd Jobs for Gladiator, Pugilist, Lancer, Marauder, Conjurer, and Thaumaturge, we will have to endure this or find ways to make Paladin, Warrior, White Mage, and Scholar fun. Not to mention Musketeer need to be released as well.

Once more options are released for Job Roles the more balance the DF will be to find groups in less time. The future Tank and healer jobs may bring more people into those roles and out of DD roles.

They could increase the party size to 5 and have 3 dps so the dps queue is shorter, but they also need to do something about how long the "reserving instance" takes.

Also they need to remove the "in progress" button and just have the normal queue be both fresh and in progress like every other MMO. If a tank or healer drops 50 mins into your run, the run is over...

Their biggest mistake is making it 1 tank, 1 healer, 2 DD - simply by making it 3 DD or 4 DD will fix this problem fast.
