Account suspended then banned?

Haha yeah I was supposedly going around spamming to sell whilst at work. I would call that awesome multitasking! I spoke with a rep supposedly I may not even get my account back -.-

That sucks! :( SE know that accounts are getting hacked and being used to gil spam, they made a statement regarding it and what to do if your account got hacked. Think it was through the lodestone that I read it, will try and find the link and edit my post. Why they would say that you might not get your account back if you were a victim of being hacked is stoopid!

Many thanks Jessikia! Yeah I don't know what to do. My friends are all leveling without me! I was their healing and I'm letting the team down :( I asked the person why he would even

say I wouldn't get my account. All I got was "I do not have any further information" Hurt my feelings :(

I am in the same boat suspended for gold selling/buying. I have tried for 4 days to get to se via phone. I did not buy or sell gold.

Ok..I'm not accusing anyone of anything.

BUT

How do they get your account password ?? In all the years of gaming in many online games and mmo's never Once have i ever had a password compromised.

Without sounding accusatory i can't see how they got the guys account name AND password to get access to the account.Unless SE game is compromised or account servers are compromised which both i doubt are the case .

I broke down and ordered one of those password generator security keys. I figure if I am going to pay for a sub in this game i might as well use one as an extra layer of protection. I use one for Wow and Swtor and its a nice bit of security for $10 bucks or so. But considering my password is a mixture of letters numbers and symbols its almost impossible to guess or crack without a keygen considering its 13 letters numbers and symbols long..so the potential combinations are in the multiple billions.

If I were a betting man I'd say there was a security leak for these very forums. I use the same loggin info for every MMO I've ever playded. Wow, SWTOR, LOTR, Neverwinter, World of Tanks, I'm sure there are others, and this is the only game where I have been hacked. I also do not visit forums other than this one. So if info was leaked from this mystery "other" forum, why is this the only game I've been hacked on?

In many cases we are just regular gamers who enjoy the game. there are many ways our info can get stolen it is the internet and like all thieves rmt are crafty. I had my account hacked and yes I do a lot of surfing at home and work about the game, multiple forums, and multiple games. In many cases yes maybe someone who got hacked may have bought or sold or w/e. But I would wager a lot to the side of many players just got screwed and it will be a while if at all before anyone really knows what happened.

Gl to those who got hacked ( I am one of them), and those that have not stay safe and let's hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

I don't use the same account name and password for multiple games, perhaps that's why I haven't been hacked, it's hard to say really, but if that were the case then every person who uses the forums would have been hacked. I haven't *fingers crossed I won't be* so it's hard to believe that the forums have been compromised. In my experience whenever a forum/company has been compromised they do an official statement and ask you to change your password. And so far, there's been nothing about a security breach within SE.

I'm still trying to figure out what this bug you are talking about is. It's the first time i've heard about that, it's been getting hacked that i've heard of gil going missing.

Also, i take by CE you mean non-physical version? If physical, that should have come with a key, and it should be used.
