You played too much FATES when....(Funny)

Though lately I find myself feeling more like the police at the end of an action movie, that show up after the fighting is all over...

These days, if you don't get to a fate within the first two minutes, it's over, which is a little sad. Especially for me, since I have the worst sense of direction ever. I can't wait for addons to be made available, could really use a GPS mod.

Gps: Destination set to Fate!
Take Conjurers' Guild Aetheryte to Plaza.
Head SE for 500 yalms to the Inn.
Descend the stairs and board the airship to Limsa Lominsa.
Arrive at Limsa Lominsa.
...
Recalculating...
Recalculating...

Me: Gods help me... I'm lost in Limsa!

*five years later, in Limsa Lominsa*
"... and that's how I ended up retiring from adventuring and became a master culinarian!"

And in bed each night, I check the GPS and see it's still recalculating because navigating Limsa Lominsa is confusing even for a GPS, and I dream of my old adventuring days, and cry.

Glad that everyone is having a laugh, i'm still laughing my ass off when i look at the gif and think about the FATES.

@Returnee,you can get used to Limsa Lominsa, but i'm still 50 and i still get lost inside Uldah lol.

Ah, good ol' FATE stampedes. Nothing like a coeurl/chocobo/goobbue/unicorn herd running by every once in awhile to help break up the monotony of mining! Well, that and running away from said FATEs when they spawn on top of me and the zerg cavalry hasn't yet arrived. :p

Even worse, a couple days ago when my cap was still 25K I was at 24k... I started the day at like 3k.. Wound up getting a whole set of lvl 30 caster gear just so I could go back out and farm more FATES.. I'm addicted.. phew.. there it was, step one, admitting it.. screw the next 11 steps.

Lol, so true :p I have 5 more levels to gain on my MRD and I'll be (thankfully) done with FATE-leveling. Then I can kick back and actually enjoy doing some random ones :3

Well, I get lost in Ul'dah as well. Gridania seems to be the only place I don't get lost. I get lost outside of cities, too. It's kind of embarrassing really. :o

In Warcraft, my friend would make fun of me because I got lost looking for Darnassus. Kept saying if they followed me we'd end up in Undercity.

What he didn't know was that in Warhammer Online, I was playing on the Order faction and got lost and almost ran into a Destruction city by accident.

Fortunately, I noticed this just in time to turn tail and flee a mob of Destruction players. I ended up losing them in the woods, hiding on a ledge on the side of a cliff.
It was just lucky I could teleport or I would have been jumping and trying to land in the water.

Did anyone else notice in the gif that he appears to be in Costa Del Sol? I bet Cancer just popped, and just like most high school cheerleaders you end up with crabs after.

Damn, that GIF perfectly demonstrates heaps of people. I have to admit, that's me too.
