When I'm not busy i'm hanging out somewhere in Uldah most of the time.
is it just me or do most english speaker seem to hang around Uldah (gets kinda lonely around Limsa Lominsa T.T )
The population in general (English-speaking or otherwise) is far more dense in Uldah because it is physically located between the other two cities.
Further encouraging players to remain in the same city is the market ward system. Over the first several months of the game's release, it was difficult to find items (or buyers)-- and anima was much more restricted. Because of the population advantage resulting from its location, Uldah became a natural choice for selling items as well.
Considering the two reasons above, more and more people spend most of their time in Uldah. That will probably be true until if/when another major "Jeuno-like" city is released.
Rowln Starwind here! Ready to kickass~
