Duty Finder: Role Assignments

Do a premade if you want to go off type.

I actually think DF is fine as it is now. I just feel maybe a more refined search would be nice like filters with on/off options for douchebags, elitists, etc. You know stuff that would help make the game more enjoyable for normal people who enjoy a game for what it is rather than making it a race to 50 for every class. Is that asking too much?

MRD is a tank, not a DD, and if they do dps, they pull aggro then tank anyways since its also their threat combo. We will get more jobs to offer more roles to classes like arcanist has. Jobs and classes have set roles and their abilities reflect that, if you want to do it different (and likely sub-optimally) make your own groups, optherwise duty finder pugs who alreayd have a alot to deal with will now also have aggro pulling mrd "dps" and white mage "dps" and all sorts of other silliness.

We need DF to be better, not worse.

MRD can be a DD. WHM can be a DD. I suppose the DF is not for players who want to do different things or are playing a role that is not the primary one for their class. Luckily, we usually have enough players on that we don't have to use the DF. It seems that it takes more understanding of the people you are playing with to do other roles, so trying it with random people would not work as well anyway. Though we have enlisted randoms for our strange party compositions and still kicked some arse.
