Have you ever though that all your "fun" is actually extra pressure on the remaining people in the raid. The only way to remove that pressure is to find a whole group with the same logic, but I doubt how far that kinda group can go.

Final nail in the game's coffin? I wasn't aware the coffin had any nails in it. The game is a smashing success.
Ya know, I can understand your concern, but at the same time this is almost like saying "I hate how elitist Brayflox is because of that lv 32 req. They should allow level 20s in, too!" The exp leveling stops at 50, primarily because there are no more skills to be had, but the 'leveling' paradigm endures via armor level (and associated stats). The only differences are 1) instead of getting new skills, you're expected to gain a better understanding of the ones you have and how to utilize them in unique situations, and 2) SE takes off the training wheels and lets you beat your head against the stat wall if you really want, unlike in pre-50 dungeons where they wouldn't even let you in without the proper level req met.
Bottom line is that some gears just won't cut it for some fights, or at best make them extremely difficult. If you don't have an ifrit weapon and/or some darklight for Garuda, it's probably going to be significantly more challenging, and the same for Titan and garuda weapons + lots of darklight. SE built the dungeons into a tiered system for a reason: theres still a semi-linear, vertical progression to be had, and its been designed and structured in such a way to promote that.
AK is fine in AF with decent jewelry and a L44 GC weapon, same with Ifrit providing you have a SMN or BLM for the AoE LB.
Garuda has damage output requirements (killing the adds before mistral or the green beam making the fight last forever) and Titan really needs the damage from higher level gear along with the extra vitality to survive the longer tumults late in the fight.
Imo a part of the issue here is making the GC promotion quest dungeon AK, as the promotion grants you access to weapons that aren't as good as Ifrits weapons while AK is harder than Ifrit. They should make the promotion dungeon Wanderers Palace instead which would make a whole lot more sense seeing as the items that drop there are the same ilvl as the 50 GC weapons, and a lot of people would stop feeling like they need to do AK.
