im looking to join a new FC, im bringing along a few friends, a WHM, PLD, DRG, WAR, and BRD possibly. how large is your FF14 group so far, and how active? we joined another "Community" FC when the game started and its been nothing but trouble so far, so we just want to know where we're going first, this time.

So far, we've got a good group of pretty active folks. We're on the smaller side, as far as "communities" go, but that's because we are a bit more selective in recruiting than most such groups. We'd be happy to review applications for you and your friends. We also have a "Friends and Family" membership for folks who don't want to go through the application process, but also aren't interested in the highest levels of participation.
