Are my friends ever going to be able to join my server? (Cactuar)

Transfer service will begin mid-semptember.

I am stalking the restriction updates religiously. I already have a character on Cactuar but desperately would like to make an alt. I missed the one opportunity to create it 3 days ago when the server was accepting new characters for a few hours. It is making me a little bit insane. We also have friends who would like to play here, but are currently unable to due to the restrictions.

Is there a page or post I can view that constantly updates what servers are currently restricted? Due to how fast they change, I can never tell when to look.

This annoys me a LOT, can't even make an alternate character on a server I am already playing? Seems ridiculous

Friend is in the same boat, his wife's PS3 won't read blurays so they get everything digital for her and can't even buy the game now

I am watching it so much lol, I am glad I am not alone! It's ridiculous that we can't make chars and have a queue allow us to make the char finalized when someone else leaves/deletes their chars there..maybe after maintenance coming up they will figure something out? :/

Well we're nearing mid-September now, so that'd better be right. My friend and I had to create our new characters on a different server because Cactuar is super full, and she's not sure if she should wait until it's open later or make her other two somewhere else and transfer them over (or I transfer mine over). Personally I think they should give everyone one free world transfer, since (for some of us) it's limited our playtime just as much as the 1017 error.
