This isn't a f2p game so instead of charging real money for it there should be a way to get them in game like crafted or a drop.

I don't want f2p junk in this amazing p2p game.

There is a barber shop coming to change hair, hair color, face painting and tattoo. This should be enough for people who want sometime a different look.
And everyone who pay the first month get a Fantasia for free. But you can only pay your first month once, so use wise your reward.

You people don't understand, charging for services like

re customization
server transfer
name changes

is perfectly fine, I'm not asking Square to go down the micro-transaction route, no way in hell am I suggesting that... I don't want custom armor, custom mounts and all that rubbish -_- but services that affect your account is hardly anything to be "anti" about. It doesn't affect the game at all, It's just personal changes for people that want to re-do their characters.

People want to change their appearance, and for a game that doesn't require alts some people want to try different races on their "main" sometimes. I can see myself playing Elezen for a number of years but I wouldn't mind swapping to a Hyur, Lalafell, etc at one point during my FFXIV life time.

No it's not perfectly fine to charge real money for those things. I am already paying a monthly fee I shouldn't have to pay more to access stuff.

I understand where you're coming from, I really do.. but I don't think ANY company would give you character re customization for free :\

Considering it's optimal to have only 1 character in this game, we'll most definitely see Phials added to the Mogstation sooner or later. It's inevitable and a good thing for people like me who like looking at new things once in awhile.

FFXI didn't have it, and you know what the majority of the PC player base did? They used Windower to change their race on the fly. From a business aspect, it would be silly for SE not to tap into the rich vein of cash that is Appearance/Race changes.

But SE already is giving them away for free, I got one in my mog mail the other day and will get another one as an added bonus for 1 month sub.
