"Fixed" servers or new nightmare?

So its the weekend and yes the duty finder server does seem full (duty finder status shows full group), but waiting to dispatch or w/e for like 10min. This will be a minor issue for the weekends for a bit I think, but the Devs have confirmed plans for a 3rd DF server per data center already along with more worlds. It is on their minds, and we will see it added, just likely not as fast as the 2nd one as nothing is broken.

Another thing to consider is it is possible that the DF servers are not running at max number of instances available yet as they are still monitoring it to ensure it does not get overloaded and start giving more lag in instances

Didn't read your responses because I don't care but the Duty Finder now has an average wait time over 30 minutes. I'd rather the servers give me the 1017 error and be able to get a dungeon in a respectable time even with own server premades you still wait 20-30 minutes just for a instance.

This "fix" is alomst like trying to fix a leak with bubble gum. Sure it's going to alleviate the problem for now but ultimately it's a poor "fix".

Correction 30 or 40 min wait

Moving a problem from point A to point B is not fixing it.
Also if some one cancels it puts you back in line.

welcome to the wonderful world of dps....You are not special... There are many like you... Be prepared to wait... You think 10 mins is bad go play any other mmo and see HOW LONG it takes for DPS to get slots... After your done there please kindly come back and delete your thread.. Thanks

The fix definitely helped. Did it make everything perfect? No.
However, a 30 minute wait in DF is far preferable to being unable to make any progress at all.

i'm actually a WHM main. Even was a WHM i have to wait 30+ minutes for an instance to open up. my party is formed well within a minute.

Most of the time I get caught in a game of wait 20 minutes someone leaves and it resets your place in que so i've been waiting for an hour and a half for a dungeon only to just quit because other party members don't want to wait and it resets your place in line.
