So I just spent a good chunk of time with your set up. The out of combat menu kept getting in my way so I went with my combat menu. However I fixed the targeting issues I had. My tanking efficiency went up greatly. A LOT less hassle.

Oh I've been looking for a tutorial like this. Thanks dude! ^^
Just tried it out and instantly the game is much more comfortable to play. A must for everyone, I think.
I also realized how dumb I was for not checking out those options in the first place. xP
I think this tutorial should be made sticky. It is short, clear and to the point. Just perfect, and if you ask me Square should put an information about those features in a pop out tutorial or something.
Very nice! I've seen those crossbar options, but had no idea what they did and was never in the right trial-and-error frame of mind to mess with anything. This will make my job a lot easier.
Me, too. Seems kind of obvious now, but I didn't know I wanted this level of customization until I learned it existed.

I sometimes find that learning things hands on, sometimes with trail and error, gives me the most experience and knowledge about something. Glad it was helpful
I had many request for a tutorial on my custom class change loop with the controller crossbar, so HERE IT IS: http://youtu.be/hHAfWMEX9Oc
ENJOY!
The only new thing I learned from this was that some people don't use potions during battle. Weird. I don't understand why you would only want the potions on an out-of-combat hotbar at all. But if that works for you, whatever.
I figured all of this out on my own during the betas from trial and error, but it's nice to see the info in one place for new people.
Regarding your class change loop, I see how you may like it but I did it differently after changing to your gamepad setup. On my out of combat crossbar I simply put all 4 of my gear changes on the shared bar so no matter what I am on i can click once to get to the job I want. Just another option if anyone wants to try it.
