There are things that should be taken from XI (that have become staples of the MMO genre honestly) and there are some things that should be left in the past. There were some good ideas but there were equally awful ones too that I would love to see stay in XI.
FFXIV is its own game and people should treat it as such. You're not getting a new XI so please either like what we have/are getting or stop wasting your time and find something else.
I moved away from FFXI because I got tired of the system. FFXIV needs to be different.
You want ffxi then go play it. This game should be different.
FFXIV may need to be different but FFXI's basic good functions should be taken out of that game and should be in their new mmos, only improved everytime it appears again, other mmos do this. If the rumor about not having /sea all so that other gaming companies can't know the population of the servers is true, that is bull, i want search function /sea all, /sea all rank, /sea all class , this should be in the game.
