Cannot create another character on same server!

I agree. I have been waiting for days for Behemoth to open, so I can create my tank/marauder there to join my friends playing there. And I check everyday, both lodestone,forums and in-game hoping that it will be open..but close..everyday close! And I have 1 character there already, but I still can't create more! :(

Actually I am not sure what subscriptions people have but when you have the base one that is something like 12 dollars a month you are only allowed one character (unless you are a legacy player) per server, that character can of course have as many professions/jobs etc as you are willing to lvl with. The 15 dollar a month sub that is the usual cost of most mmo's lets you make as far as I know 8 different looking characters per server.

I have the 15 a month it says i can make 8 characters but when i try Behemoth is greyed out saying its locked 24/7, its really frustrating after paying so much money to this company...

Trying Behometh for days as well. Keeps saying locked. Let me know if you can get in because I can't (even though I woke up at 6:30 am just to do so).

I know it's not an answer but i'm sure servers will open up regularly soon. I'm assuming they have to open them up and give everyone time to move around make new characters before they start selling the game again. That's gonna be a whole other set of issues itself.

This is day #4 for me in not being able to create a character where I need to be. What's comically insulting is that as I wait around refreshing the server menu in hopes that Cactuar won't be greyed out, the text on the left side keeps reminding me that if I "have made plans to play FF14 with friends, make sure that you all select the same one." I understand that people have been waiting longer than I have to create a character, but a restriction of more than a day or two is ridiculous. If I'm unable to make a character until next week, I'm not going to want to play the game any more. At this point, I kind of would rather just have a refund than sit around refreshing the server list at all hours during the night / early morning hoping to justify the money that I spent.
