Did anyone put their ideas in the feedback forum? I see some really good ones here. I played as SCH in a dungeon for the first time last night and I was frustrated by the fact that the regen ability would be frequently applied as a battle concluded simply because some players had less than 100% health and the ability CD had expired.

I started to have a lot more fun on SCH after I put Embrace, Place, and Heel on my bars. I've given up trying to save Whispering Dawn for when I need it. I've tried putting her on steady, but after I use Embrace once she uses both of her CD's right away. That's not just a problem with the fairies, all the summons are like that unfortunately. I try to place her in the middle of everyone during bosses, if she's standing in a red circle I attempt to hit Heel as fast as I can. Whether or not she gets hit depends on if I was fast enough.
I think my biggest issue with SCH atm (besides the constant waste of the only AoE heal I have right now) is the fact that I can't tell her what to do while I'm casting. If I could do...only that it would be a huge improvement.

Eos:
Use whispering dawn when many nearby party members loose HP.
Selene:
Never uses silent dawn, please make her use on nearest target using a cast time skill.
Both:
When using the place command, I would like my fairy to move to whatever im targeting and follow rather than only being able to manually place them.

i'd love to be able to heel/place fairy while I am busy mid-cast. I like the responsibility of placing the fairy in a good spot and moving it, it automatically dodging would make bosses like chimera too easy.
Other than that the AI is really not that bad, you can easily heal dungeons and do bosses just focusing on using your own spells and just be content with the fairy casting whatever she wants. Microing embrace/whispering dawn isnt needed as much as people think.

All I want is her of my CD and a working Steady that doesn't put her back in auto mode after a skill.
It seems bugged to me to be honest, why do we have a Guard skill if she autos back into it anyway?

Something I have learned, by accident mind you, if you Obey an enemy NPC with your faerie it will stay in place, so you have to Heel next for it to follow you or even place it. They will then only cast their Embrace and Second Skill automatically and not as quickly either.
Anyway, just something I picked up by accidentally pushing Obey and then looking where my faerie had gone.
Another thing I learned that made Brayflox so much easier, they seem to heal the closes target to them more often. So, if it's going to be a tough fight, I always place it nearly on top of the tank.
I kind of got the idea after noticing she (Eos or Selene) heal me with nearly just a scratch and not anyone else like that.

The whole steady/obey setup is clunky and should be done away with. Replace it with right-click to toggle auto-casting and real aggressive/defensive/passive stances like so many other MMOs have. It's simple and it works.

When I play my scholar I always target the first mob I can and tell my pet to obey. Eos and Selene will cast embrace on the person with the lowest %HP below about 70% and Eos will also cast Whispering dawn. Since most AoEs are telegraphed you can set Eos to steady and prepare for the AoE with rouse then make her cast Whispering Dawn which sets her back to guard but she will still be in obey status. Meaning she won't spam her Fey Illumination or Fey Covenant. This leaves you open to use them at other points in the fight where you might need them. Also after you first target a mob and hit obey after that if you hit heel they will both follow you like normal but still be in the obey stance, meaning they won't use all their abilities on cooldown. The only problem I have ever had with using this setup is Eos likes to cast her whispering Dawn on cooldown. Most of the time though I do not mind and place her somewhere where it will hit the most people. I also have my fairy heal on my hot bars and usually hit it before I cast a spell. You just need a little practice with micromanaging your pet along with yourself to do well as a scholar. Right now I do not see any glaring issues with the fairy AI. You just have to work with what you got instead of making it so basically having a scholar in the group is the same as having 1.5 healers in a group. Which right now if you have a good scholar in the group it kind of is.

I think if your fairy stayed on standby when you manually used a skill the bad ai issue will go away.
Plus, some attacks from monsters are designed to go through your pets unnaturally high defenses. Titan has 2 attacks that will destroy your pet, the ones that are designed to hit only a properly positioned tank. Every other monster is similar, but I think there are some where attacks that WILL hit your pet are doing too much damage to them, thus making the fight difficult for a scholar or summoner. Those few just need to be specifically pointed out and fixed.

Obey on:
Selene: Selene will only use Embrace and no other skills until told to.
Eos: Eos will use Embrace & Whispering Dawn and no other skills until told to.
Looks like the faries will always use/spam heals when up, no matter what mode you're in.
Work around for Eos is to use 'Steady' as she still uses Embrace but wont use Dawn until told to. (You need to put it back on after a skill is used)
