I have a hyur archer. She's nice, but she doesn't perfectly fit what I would like unfortunately.
I find the path companion idea extremely interesting and showing a lot of potential. But I would like it to be expanded a lot, since it really deserves more spotlight, as I expressed fully in this thread:

In my other character i had a lala plainfolk archer...guess what...its Shantotto =P blonde lala that laughs with the hand in front of face and say all kinds of evil stuff. Too bad some of their lines (most of content-wise ones) are the very same for every companion.
But, while talking about it...i'd like to do another comment about miqo'te companions...i loved the way they added mature content in this game. The content of FFXIV is much more realistic than others...they resemble me games based on D&D, like Baldur's Gate kind of content.
After all not all fantasies are about a blonde boy with a big sword having to get the help of the dragon and save the world. "Fantasy" can cover a much wider content, including mature content, and this game does used it a bit ^^ This does deverved a thumbs up since the first time i saw these content ^^
I choosed an Elezen Male Gladiator companion, he's pretty sure of himself, protective and quite wellmanered & respectful. He's always galant to me. His choices of action are always about direct confrontation.
Male Hyur Archer named Sheridan.
According to SE he is suppose to be "A fine if somewhat conventional companion, possessing a strong sense of justice, an indefatigable spirit and…so on." I just liked him because he was pretty.
