Plus being evil is more interesting. I'm tired of saving the world. I want to help conquer it for once.

Well, they do have a cool /salute... But I'd rather not be fodder for adventurers.

I'll bet you anything the upper echelon of the Empire has a Primal that all the fodder below the Emperor's Council don't know about and this whole cleansing of Eorzea is nothing more than a ploy to eliminate other Primals that the one summoned by the Empire may be the strongest.

Kind of absurdly so. It's actually just annoying how that is played up for "BAD GUYS"

On that note, I'd love to play as Ex-Garleans, It'd be sick to have gunblade/magitek engineer classes and take the good ideals of the empire and divorce them from the bad execution.

Also, talk to the imperial soldiers in some of the quests; they talk about their children and families back home.

Then tell me they're all rapists.

Treason is not looked highly upon. It is sad that you would turn a blind eye to the horrid Imperial atrocities on our people for the sake of ill-functioning trinkets and black halfrobes. Or would you look to the expansion to also shield you from every Bow, sword, and staff that takes down Imperials currently?

Either way, I don't think this is going the way of Aion with faction pvp. That often turns out to be uncontrolled and more balancing trouble than its worth intra-server.

We'll be sure to let The Maelstrom Officers know regardless. :P
