i agree you shouldnt have to solo them
but the thread itself originated out of the idea of groups who cant get into the same behest together, so that was where my first primary thought came from

as to soloing behests, yeah, people need to spread out and it does have to start somewhere, if they dont...well then your stuck with competing for spots

i feel bad saying this since i wont do it myself, but im also one of the lucky ones with an excelent connection who can always beat other people to the punch to get in
but i would try to move if that wasnt the case


right now these camps are populated

20: bloodshore and horizon
30: wells, cedar, mines
40: BW

now why more people spread out in 30s i dont know, but its funny that they do and then scrunch up again for 40s
moving people to hala would be a good idea, its not like its far from bw if being in that area for certain events and leves is why they do it

MY Linkshell stopped doing behest a long time ago even before the 8person max change, the leve sp/hr was just so much higher it made no sense to do behest anymore.

But for non-ls groups (soloers and duo/trios) and stuff like that I think they need to let more people do behest. Make it like leves where every party gets their own set of mobs.

I think one every 30 min is too fast. it is better to be 1 per hour as before. But I agree that they need to add more than 1 group. I remember behest has 2-3 possible location on each camp. So they should allow second group to go fight at second location, so they won't steal mob with first group.

It sounds like people have no other options to level other than behest. They made it every 30 mins and yet people still cry. I'm glad it's 8 people only now, because 15 just kills your sp in the end. Also, more players = more mistakes (killing yellow mobs). Just move to another camp and stop being lazy. Like Thevedis said, someone has to start moving, so that others follow. Maybe instead of crying on forums after your behest, you should go and grind it's way faster than sitting and waiting for behest every 30min.

use the anima you hate so much to get to another camp before the behest starts

Im going to have to agree behests suck now. its hard to get into behests you will not spend the anima to travel to get into behests because your wasting it fast enough even when your not traveling for behests who would spend anima to go outside of their town to behest (and behest by yourself or 2-3 people at that) its very annoying having to speed click the hell and fight against 20-30 people for an 8 person spot and if your outta leves and still wanna work on your job by doing behests your pretty much screwed. they should have atleast waited till alliances before implimenting the 8 person thing.

I think I am slowly figuring out the sole purpose now of the "rule of 8" in PT play and behest. Behest now is a perfect place to organize a pickup group to bust leves with strangers. It is a subtle but interesting way of meeting new people and then leve-sharing and linking together. Once in a LS, ppl organize perma-parties for major leves and whatnot...but with 30 min behest timers an individual can join and ask others to leve after it ends. Its an increase to socialization of a server and meeting new ppl. It is double edged in that it hurts multiple ppl already in a PT that can't all get into a behest but in some ways it is also helpful. Have a leve reset that is coming up in a few hours and still have that R30 for guild marks at nophica and your LS just isn't helping? Go to nophica, behest, bust the leve and make some new friends. :)

I don't care if people leech some of 'em, it made the leve go faster, I met some new players, some even had links, and my time wasn't wasted by waiting or trying solo.

I do like the fact you could use them as a semi pick up group but you could before and with more people to choose from.

The current behest system sucks balls. Every now and then I log on, try behest Horizon, fail, and dont bother trying for another week. Its not like theres much else to do.
