They're adding new worlds. Nothing has been said about the clown cars that are the current servers.
So unless transfers open up then yes, 1017 will persist for those of us stuck on the current servers.
When Wednesday Come No 1017 error...Right?

As other people have stated in here the "fix" on Friday will not fix this at all. they need to add more than they are adding and give free transfers to free up space on the congested worlds.
