Ive also been getting this since last night. I can get into my Legacy server if I wanna play a game where I cant talk to anyone because I dont speak JP...
I saw the NA/EU server list pop up ONE TIME this morning, but when I selected my character 10102...
This is seriously pathetic, not because there are issues... I can understand issues. But because NO ONE is responding to the issue in any form.
After reading some other threads, with players arguing over whether rebooting would make a difference, I thought to myself that "Yes it would make a difference if my computer wasn't accessing the files properly.". So i restarted my computer and it fixed this issue right up.....
It doesn't fix the 1017 problem, but it at least gets you to the point where you can TRY to log in.
Just a suggestion to those getting the "Unable to load US/EU servers" error.
