Please help CAN'T JOIN GRAND COMPANY!

Yeah knowing to kill the nail once it appears in order to kill Infrit and survive is key.

I'm having the same trouble. Cannot get any Grand Company to talk to me and I have ALL of the main and class quests done up through level 23. I'm baffled. I wish there was a better internet game guide. None of the websites seem to have much in the way of serious information. All just fluff.

Yes, you're on the right track. You've still got a few quests to go, but you should be able to grind them through fairly quickly. The one big task you have remaining will be your fight with Ifrit. You'll get the quest that inducts you into a Grand Company immediately thereafter.

You can't possibly have done all the main storyline quests through 23. Joining a Grand Company is *part* of the main storyline at level 20; you can't get to the level 23 quests without doing it.
