Lobby error and NA server problems

Just tried logging in again after having been booted from a duty while in game 18 hours ago on Ultros. No such luck again! Although according to the "news" post from SE, Ultros is supposed to be good to go. I am still not able to reach the lobby (error 2002)! I have seen completely blank screens character selection screen, missing NA/EU listings, error 90000, error 1017, among other error messages all day long. Very frustrating... Back to my other MMORPG for the meantime I guess.

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that my machine is not able to communicate with their machine because we're basically trying to communicate through what would typically be called a Denial of Service Attack (even though it is not one) with the thousands of concurrent players trying to connect.

This is SE's second chance and they botched on the important details and distracted us with fancy graphics, what do they do with all the money we give them work half the time and then twiddle there thumbs waiting for the work day to end? I'm pretty tired of the industry taking advantage of the consumer, its getting less and less about the gamers and games and more about self image and wealth.

I can't see my character in my log in screen. Obviously, my character still exists since I logged into Square-Enix account and into the forum with my main. However, I can't see my main when I try to log in.

Please help me resolve this issue. I started a new character on another server.

Char Name: Insanity Reborn
Server: Lamia

System: PS3, installed using disc

I made the first character during 1.0 when my FFXI account was still active. I am not sure if you can give my new character those exclusive items for having the FFXI account active when creating FFXIV character.

I wouldn't mind playing on my new character since I just started a couple of days ago, but I got Hermes Boots and Gorgon Goggles on my main char. If there is a way to transfer those items, or make it so I have those items on both char then I wouldn't mind playing on my new char.

Please let me know if my 1st character can be salvaged. I at least want my "legacy" items for having played FFXI on my new character.

Same with me still. Unable to load the NA/EU servers, over 12hrs now since last logged on :(. Loving the game but jesus SE, sort this please!

it sad when people in game are saying they are going to AFK just to avoid having to face the 1701 boss again or deal with this server list issue. I logged out at my inn room since I wanted my 50% bonus and I was tired, just to wake up to not being able too play. I hope this is fixed soon because in this state no one should be paying subs for this game when the time come! I was hoping to grind out the last 8 levels to my lv50 SCH but this is preventing that.

I love the game when I am able to play it (but isn't that what you do with games? PLAY THEM!!!)

its sept 1 now SE, my patience is all but ran out! please fix this!
