To the people who are logged in overnight

It really looks awful to see the mass of afk idlers when logging in. Discovering that people are literally staying in game for days at a time to avoid any potential login issues is pretty ridiculous. Hoping that SE implements a forced logoff after x amount of time idle.

I hope they are ready for the "World of Warcraft Era" gamers that seem to have come to this game in droves. FF communities have always been relatively small, but generally pretty solid. A few minutes reading these forums and I am appalled at the toxicity some of you are bringing with you. I just hope that the true FF community can expel and ostracize you while still welcoming the newer players that have something to contribute besides bile.

Why is that some players think their limited play time is more valuable than my limited play time? If anything, you are contributing to the problem when you remain logged in AFK because you are taking up space that would otherwise be filled by an ACTIVE player.

Yes, by the way of the rules, its fair play. However, that doesn't mean it is by anyway respectful to other members of your community. Be a little humble and logout when your done, give your space to someone else who probably has limited play time as well. The more players that take advantage of this 'loophole' the less space to go around for regularly logging in players and the worse 1017 will be.

Be a part of the solution, not the problem.

The server upgrades next week will be implemented before an afk kick ever will. Things like that need testing periods anyways

You guys are blaming the wrong people.

Its not the consumers fault the servers aren't capable of sustaining the amount of people that it should support.

Make another topic, and tell SE that you want better servers.

I personally would love a kick timer. 9:14 AM on a NA/EU server and I still am getting world is full. :/

I agree, its very selfish to leave the game on for hours that you aren't playing. That's another connection someone else can enjoy.

None of us paid for ARR years ago as none of us are paying for ARR for another few weeks.

Of everyone just logged off when you were done we probably wouldn't have as much congestion. You people posting here that you don't want to log off are the problem plain and simple.

8 hours of work. 8 hours of sleep. That's 16 hours you don't play that someone could have hopped in payed for a bit and logged out. But you don't want to get login problems?!?! You are the problem!

I log off everytime I'm done. Because I as a player know what's its like to not be able to pay when you have the time.
