Spider eggs are the easiest as SMN. When you see the boss going to laid egg, make sure Bio II, Misama and Bio are on boss. Then use Bane when boss laid eggs. I then go in and do the Misama II (but I don't think you need it, 3 dots are enough). All eggs are destroyed before they hatch. I didn't get a chance to test Rouse to see if it removes disease from boss on pets. Will test next time to check.

Would it be impossible to have Status-Cleansing effects cleanse effects from our pets as well? Obviously if a SMN/CNJ does what's necessary to cleanse themselves, they're displaying the same skill that any other damage dealer or healer has to display to clear the fight. Being forced to micro our pets with the currently clunky control system ontop of that is somewhat excessive. Scholars already have to focus harder on healing and heal more frequently than their WHM counterparts, and SMN players have all the dots in the world to keep up and watch. It seems a simple enough task to provide some status-cleansing link between Player and Pet (or simply making the pets immune to this particular debuff.)

While the pet may die... it's not impossible.

I cleared it with a scholar as our healer... You guys will probably just need more coordination and teamwork.

Your right, they should not fix a broken mechanic. Everyone that has a SUM/SCH should just learn to do it gimped and broken. I completed that fight as a SCH with a SUM in the group so there was basically only 1 DPS, that must mean I am even more pro than you... lol. I want to hear from someone that did it with a SCH and 2 SUM.

I am not sure if people are just retarded or trolling. If my pet were to die because of a mechanic I failed at, that is fine, this is a mechanic that cannot be cleaned from our pets, I highly doubt it is working as intended. The SE team was sitting there creating this and was like, we really need to gimp SCH and SUM in here, it will make it a lot more fun.

Lol and another tard! Who is everyone? There is 2 pages to this of SUM/SCH discussing a broken mechanic.

You guys are all from the same server.

While everyone cries about this 1 dungeon that Smn/Sch has some trouble in I'm gonna keep crushing war, brd, drg, whm. Maybe this is meant to humble pet jobs a little since most of the early game gets destroyed by pets. You are asking for what seems to be the only hard thing you've had to deal with to be nerfed. Why not I mean you get 2 jobs to 50 for 1 class lets make the rest of the game better for you too. Want free darklight?

For SCH It wasn't that bad, only had to resummon once, sure it was annoying but it wasn't BAD. Wait till the moving wall when you have to keep manually commanding your pet to move side center side center, heel, over and over while constantly healing, any small mistake and the party will easily wipe.

Where do you get the idea it's broken? If it has been done by numerous other anarchist classes, where does that make this broken? just because it's made more difficult does not make it broken. There are many dungeons in this game that have better class set ups than others, do you see them rearranging the whole dungeon or boss fight to get around that? No.

Don't come out and attack me just because you are unsatisfied because your pet dies easier so that it makes that particular boss fight harder than other party set ups. Every dungeon/boss has better set ups than others to make it more simple, it does not mean it's broken. Next time before you start talking crap out your mouth you should probably learn to either work around the problem or opt to play another class to support your party set up. This game was designed for multiple classes.
