Cant talk to Npc while on mount??

Auto-dismount is what I'd like to see. It's a small QoL thing that I'm sure didn't even cross anyone's mind, but it would be a good thing to implement when the higher priority fixes are done.

is not polite to talk while in chocoback, or mount. its like talking down on someone... :P

I suggest you go and play Rift, WOW, etc. which allow you to talk to NPCs etc still mounted and see how jerks enjoy putting their mounts on top of NPCs to make interacting with them hard or impossible.

I'd like it to auto dismount me. Having to manually do it doesn't make the game more interesting or engaging, it's just 'the way it *currently is'.

Its not a big deal, but it would be an 'oh, nice' type of addition.

You know in the time it took you to come here, start this thread type it out and post it, you could have pressed the button to get off and on your chocobo about 300 times.

Its not inconvenient, and there is nothing wrong with the way it is set up. Sounds more like laziness.

Next ask for SE to level up your character.

Imagine trying to find the npc if everyone was on mounts, wouldn't be easy

Nothing stopping people from just standing there with their chocobo on top of an NPC just to be jerks. You're the one that needs to talk to the NPC, not them after all.
